Темп роста ВВП за 2024 год. По оценкам Центра экономических исследований CypERC, реальный рост ВВП Кипра в 2024 году составил 3,7%, что на 0,2% больше октябрьского прогноза роста экономики. Еврокомиссия оценивает реальный рост ВВП Кипра за 2024 год в 3,6%. Такие показатели Центр экономических исследований Кипра связывает с уменьшением уровня инфляции в последнем квартале года, с активным рынком труда и низким уровнем безработицы, а также со смягчением кредитной политики в еврозоне. На 2025 год прогноз темпа роста ВВП более умеренный – 3% ожидает CypERC и 2,8% предполагает Еврокомиссия.
Рост банковской активности в декабре 2024. Согласно данным Центрального банка Кипра, в декабре общий объем кредитов вырос на 503,2 млн евро и теперь составляет 25,4 млрд евро. Крупная сделка в медицинском секторе. PureHealth из Саудовской Аравии, крупнейшая ближневосточная группа компаний в сфере здравоохранения, приобрела 60% акций Hellenic Healthcare Group (HHG). Последняя является самой значимой частной компанией по оказанию медицинских услуг в Греции и на Кипре. Стоимость сделки составляет 2,3 млрд долларов. HHG управляет девятью частными больницами, две из них кипрские — Apollonion и Aretaeio. Также компания владеет частными диагностическими центрами, лабораториями и клиниками. За первую неделю своего президентства Дональд Трамп принял ряд решений и озвучил будущие намерения, касающиеся торговой политики.
Налог с крупных корпораций
Президент США 20 января вышел из глобального соглашения о налогообложении транснациональных корпораций (ТНК), которое было заключено в 2021 году странами, состоящими в Организации экономического сотрудничества и развития (ОЭСР).
Согласно соглашению, транснациональные корпорации обязаны платить 15% налог в странах, отличных от страны их главного управления. Такой закон, по мнению Дональда Трампа, непропорционально влияет на крупные американские компании, в основном из сферы технологий. Президент США также пообещал ввести ответные меры по отношению к странам, которые уже ввели или намереваются ввести данный налог.
Об отрицательном отношении правительства США к соглашению о налогообложении ТНК стало известно еще в сентябре 2024 года. Тогда Конгресс выпустил письмо, в котором перечислялись причины несогласия США с этим решением ОЭСР и выражалось намерение принять контрмеры.
Выжидательная позиция Кипра
Правительству Кипра, главе государства и парламенту было известно о выпущенном в сентябре письме Конгресса США. На заседании парламентского Комитета по финансовым вопросам тогда обсуждался проект Министерства финансов о введении 15% налога для ТНК. Большинство присутствующих на заседании выразило сомнения в правильности принятия этого законопроекта. Тогда же было решено подождать результаты выборов в США и отложить обсуждение вопроса до прояснения политики нового президента.
Недовольство соглашением о налогообложении ТНК выразили и представители кипрского бизнеса. Кипрская судоходная палата, Ассоциация адвокатов Кипра, Кипрская торгово-промышленная палата и другие заинтересованные стороны рассказали о возможных негативных последствиях для экономики страны, если будет введен 15% налог.
Между двух огней
Однако правительство оказывается между двух огней. Кипр находится под обязательством со стороны ЕС и должен принять решение, соответствующее соглашению ОЭСР. Кипр уже получил от Еврокомиссии предупреждение о том, что против страны будут введены санкции в случае отказа от принятия закона о налогообложении ТНК.
Помимо вышеупомянутого спорного вопроса на экономику Кипра может повлиять и противостояние властей ЕС и США. Так введение дополнительных пошлин в торговле между этими сторонами увеличит инфляцию в Еврозоне, ослабит евро и укрепит доллар. Соответственно для Кипра импорт из неевропейских стран станет дороже.
Пострадает энергетика
Главной сферой кипрской экономики, которая пострадает в случае введения США дополнительных тарифов, станет энергетика. Кипр зависит от долларовых цен на нефть, кроме того, транспортные расходы на энергоносители также будут расти.
В отношении прямой торговли между Кипром и США мало что изменится, так как ее объемы достаточно малы. Возможно, пострадает экспорт халлуми — одного из главных экспортируемых товаров острова. Однако и в таком случае правительство намерено найти новые рынки для его сбыта.
В целом настороженное отношение к ведению бизнеса, неопределенность и протекционистские настроения американского президента уже влияют на динамику развития мировой экономики. В 2025 году при сохранении настоящих тенденций возможно замедление темпов роста, в том числе и темпов роста экономики Кипра.

Статистическая служба ЕС выпустила отчет за январь 2025 года с анализом данных за 2023 год. Как кипрские предприятия используют технологии для продаж и оптимизации работы?
Кипр оказался шестым среди стран ЕС, по использованию соцсетей в ведении бизнеса. В 2023 году аккаунт в соцсетях вели 79,94% предприятий страны. Чуть выше этот показатель у Норвегии, Дании, Финляндии и Швеции, а лидирует в этом списке Мальта — 87,14%. Наиболее популярными являются соцсети с обменом сообщениями и постами (Facebook, LinkedIn), затем соцсети с обменом мультимедиа контентом (YouTube, Instagram и др.) и менее популярны блоги (Х и подобные сервисы).
Анализ данных за 2024 год по обороту, от онлайн-продаж показал, что большая часть оборота на Кипре получена от продаж через сайты и приложения (11%), что выводит Кипр третье место по ЕС после Ирландии и Швеции. Обратная картина видна по продажам через электронный обмен данными (EDI): кипрские предприятия получили 2,65% оборота через EDI, что ставит страну на третье место с конца среди стран ЕС.
Согласно отчету с данными за 2022 год, подавляющее большинство предприятий в странах ЕС имеет свой сайт или приложение (84,7%). На Кипре этот процент близок к среднему по ЕС (80%). Не столь высок процент бизнеса, использующего онлайн маркетплейсы — 42,9% в среднем по ЕС. Кипр находится на четвертом месте: 52,9% предприятий совершают продажи на маркетплейсах.
Чуть выше среднего показатели у компаний на Кипре по использованию облачных технологий — 52,9%. По данным за 2023 год, 45,2% предприятий в странах ЕС применяют в работе облачные технологии.
Также в среднем среди стран ЕС 33% предприятий использует аналитику данных для принятия решений и составления выводов и прогнозов. Кипр близок к этому уровню – 33,5%.
Наиболее слабым местом в плане технологий для Кипра является применение искусственного интеллекта. В среднем в ЕС 13,48% бизнеса пользуется ИИ в ведении дел, на Кипре в 2024 году этот показатель равен 7,9%, а годом ранее было 4,67%. Это говорит о том, что кипрские предприятия быстро внедряют ИИ в свою работу, но все равно пока отстают от остальных стран Евросоюза.

Ларнака готовится к масштабному обновлению: в течение ближайших двух лет в городе реализуют 14 крупных проектов общей стоимостью 130 млн евро. Планируется открытие нового факультета университета ТЕПАК, реконструкция марины, модернизация дорог, благоустройство общественных пространств и создание новых парков. Новый факультет университета ТЕПАК
Главный проект – открытие в городе нового государственного вуза. Ларнака как никогда близка к соглашению об открытии в городе факультета морских наук, технологий и устойчивого развития университета ТЕПАК. Здание будет построено в непосредственной близости от старого аэропорта Ларнаки. Первоначальные затраты составят 20 млн евро. Деньги будут получены благодаря государственному финансированию и европейским фондам.
Реконструкция марины
Второй крупный проект бюджетом около 30 млн евро – реконструкция марины Ларнаки. Фактически здесь будут реализованы три проекта: углубление дна, строительство здания морского клуба и благоустройство территории. Муниципалитет как организация-заказчик объявит архитектурный конкурс в течение года, а строительные работы начнутся в следующем году.
Новые парки и дома престарелых
В течение года будут завершены пять проектов бюджетом более 20 млн евро. В июне в эксплуатацию сдадут парк отдыха в районе Чаккилеро (2,3 млн евро), в декабре – парк Паттихио (6,7 млн евро). В новом парке Салина отреставрируют бывшую резиденцию шефа полиции (1,3 млн евро). В районе Дроша достроят государственный дом престарелых (6 млн евро), а в Ливадии обновят противопаводковые каналы (3,8 млн евро).
Проекты дорожной инфраструктуры
В течение года будут запущены четыре проекта бюджетом 34,6 млн евро. Все они должны быть завершены к 2026 году:
– две перехватывающие парковки,
– общая модернизация дорожной сети, создание велодорожек протяженностью 22 км и выделенных полос для общественного транспорта протяженностью 10 км,
– реставрация и благоустройство исторического центра в муниципалитете Ливадия,
– реконструкция исторического квартала Ай-Яннис.
Благоустройство площадей и коммерческого района
К концу 2026 года будет завершено благоустройство площадей Алкис и Акрополис, а коммерческий район в центре Ларнаки будет выложен плиткой и обретет три новых площади. В следующем году также планируют завершить ремонт дороги Ларнака-Декелия.
Замороженные проекты
Наконец, в планах муниципалитета есть еще три проекта, которые пока что по разным причинам не двигаются с мертвой точки:
– реставрация старого здания государственной больницы и переезд туда муниципальных служб, которая застопорилась из-за задержек с переездом государственного медицинского учреждения,
– создание единого археологического парка в районе древнего Китиона. Новый проект будет включать в свои границы археологический музей Ларнаки, территорию древнего порта в районе Пампула и римскую мозаику на улице Агиу Неофиту, изображающую подвиги Геракла,
– открытие Центра экологического образования при Соляных озерах Ларнаки, на месте бывшего лепрозория.
