On 14-15 April, a delegation from Successful Business Leaders’ Club (SBLC) visited Yerevan with the objective of strengthening business ties between Cyprus and Armenia. The visit was initiated and organised by SBLC Chairwoman Natalia Kardash.
The programme included meetings with four prominent Armenian organisations: Mantashyants Entrepreneurs Club, Club Capital, the Council for International Business Relations Support (CIBRS), and the alumni club of Matena Business School. Each interaction was thoughtfully structured, comprising both group discussions and individual meetings, enabling delegates to explore potential collaboration in specific areas comprehensively.
Members of the Cypriot delegation represented diverse business sectors, including financial consulting, legal services, venture investment, investment funds, food production, export-import operations, high technology, and IT. This diversity fostered productive networking and meaningful exchanges with Armenian counterparts.
A Memorandum of Understanding between SBLC and CIBRS was signed during the visit, outlining priority areas for cooperation such as the exchange of business information, joint events, and support for business missions.
Throughout the visit, all delegation members were able to clearly define their future cooperation directions with Armenian partners, with some already finalising initial contracts. Individual consultations and business meetings provided delegates with a clear vision of their business prospects in Armenia.
The next step in advancing bilateral relations will be the Armenian delegation’s visit to Cyprus. On 19 May, representatives from the Armenian business community will attend an event during the Best Invest Сongress in Cyprus, reinforcing established agreements and exploring further opportunities for collaboration.
