For yet another year, the largest maritime show in the Eastern Mediterranean is expected to impress and attract thousands of boats and yachts enthusiasts and sea lovers. The event reached full capacity from the very first steps of the registration process, with dozens of businesses eager to showcase their remarkable boats, diving and fishing equipment, luxury cars, and a wide array of services in the yachting sector.
A press conference announcing this year’s Limassol Boat Show was held at Marina Breeze Lounge Bar at Limassol Marina, on Tuesday 21st May 2024, in the presence of Dacor Advertising and Media Ltd’s Director, Mr Aristos Aristidou, the General Manager of Limassol Marina, Mr Nikiforos Pampakas and the former Deputy Minister of Shipping, Mr Vasilios Demetriades. After the huge success and international recognition of the previous Exhibition, the event’s organisers, Dacor Advertising & Media Ltd and Limassol Marina, expressed their enthusiasm and thanks for the unprecedented interest in this year's event from both exhibitors and visitors. The demand highlights even more the potential benefits of the Exhibition which undoubtedly contributes significantly to the establishment of Cyprus on the nautical map and to the growing development of the yachting sector at a local level. The event’s organisers have also announced that the official opening of Limassol Boat Show 2024 will take place on Thursday, 23rd May at 17:00 at Limassol Marina.
Happening from 23rd to 26th May 2024, visitors of Limassol Boat Show 2024 will have the opportunity to view the latest products and trends in the yachting industry, water sports, recreational fishing, diving and other related activities. Marking significant innovations in this year’s edition, the event will present for the first time in the Eastern Mediterranean, a Lamborghini motorboat, and will include imposing presences from well-known shipyards like Sanlorenzo, Princess, Sunseeker, Azimut, Benetti, Bavaria, Elan, Sea Ray, MAREX, Riva, Antonio yachts, Mastercraft, Chris-Craft, Sacs, MV marine, ΜΙΤΟ, Prestige, Lagoon, Jeanneau, Invictus and more. BSM Maritime Training Centre will also welcome visitors and maritime professionals to explore the training opportunities for future seafarers. Adding to the excitement, athletes will showcase impressive demonstrations of Flyboard, Waveboard and Jet Ski in the demonstration area while live music performances will perform every day at the VIP Café lounge in Area D of the boat show.
The 2nd Limassol Boat Show Conference will also take place during Limassol Boat Show 2024, on the 24th of May at BSM Maritime Training Centre, at Limassol Marina, from 08:30 – 13:30. Esteemed guests from Cyprus and abroad will join the panel to discuss whether a holistic approach from the European Union is needed for the yachting sector. The Conference will be coordinated by the former Deputy Minister of Shipping, Mr Vasilios Demetriades, and for those interested to participate, can complete their registration online at www.lbsconference.com. This year’s Limassol Boat Show will be open on Thursday and Friday, 23rd and 24th May from 17:00 to 21:00, while on Saturday and Sunday, 25th May and 26th May, the Exhibition will be open from 12:00 to 20:00. The entrance to most of the boat show areas including small yachts, fishing equipment services, sports and marine products is free, while the entry fee to the superyachts area (Area D) is €10.
